Terms and Conditions
Terms governing quotations, academic editing, publication support, delivery, revisions, and use of this website.
Last updated: 2026-07-22. By requesting or purchasing services from Source Publishing Services, you agree to the quotation, project scope, and these terms.
1. Service scope and quotations
Each project is governed by a written quotation or order confirmation describing the requested service, files, word count or workload, deliverables, price, turnaround, and any exclusions. Work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation.
2. Editorial independence and publication outcomes
Our services improve language, structure, presentation, journal alignment, and submission readiness. We do not guarantee journal acceptance, peer-review outcomes, publication dates, indexing, citations, rankings, or decisions made by journals and other third parties.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, authorship, ethics, permissions, data, analysis, references, disclosures, conflicts of interest, and final approval of all submitted work. Clients must not request fabrication, plagiarism, deceptive authorship, manipulation of results, or circumvention of journal policies.
4. Files, confidentiality, and ownership
Clients retain ownership of their manuscripts and supporting materials. Submitted files are used only for assessment and service delivery and may be accessed by authorised personnel or necessary service providers under confidentiality obligations. Clients should keep their own backup copies.
5. Turnaround and client delays
Turnaround begins after the required files, instructions, and agreed payment are received. Delays in client responses, incomplete files, substantial scope changes, third-party systems, or events outside reasonable control may affect delivery dates.
6. Revisions and acceptance of delivery
Included revisions are limited to corrections or clarifications within the agreed scope and must be requested within the period stated in the quotation. New content, major restructuring, changed journal requirements, or work based on later reviewer comments may require a separate quotation.
7. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payment terms are stated in the quotation or invoice. Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the amount of work already completed, committed specialist time, non-refundable third-party costs, and applicable law. Completed or delivered work is generally not refundable except where required by law or where the service materially fails to match the agreed scope.
8. Limitation of responsibility
Clients must review and approve all edited files before submission or use. To the extent permitted by law, responsibility is limited to correcting errors within the agreed service scope or refunding the affected service fee; we are not responsible for journal decisions, lost opportunities, indirect losses, or client changes made after delivery.
9. Acceptable use of the website
You must not misuse forms, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious files, interfere with website operation, impersonate others, or submit content that infringes rights or violates applicable law.
10. Questions and disputes
Questions about an order or these terms should be sent to info@sourcepublishingservices.com. The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns in good faith using the written quotation, delivery records, and project correspondence.
